Almost 30, Need a Career Change! Help!!?
I am sort of depressed right now, I really want to rise beyond 11 dollars an hour at a dead end job. I cannot put my finger on what I would like to do as a career, i plan to go back to school in the Spring. Money is very important to me as well as happiness
I'd recommend a really great book for you - "It's Only Too late If You Don't Start Now" By Barbara Sher.
Another by the same author - "I Could Do Anything If I Only Knew What It Was". This is one author and two books that really got my life on a different, better track!
Good luck! i have no idea what you do, but i run a machine shop in texas , an we hire guys off the street for more money than that, try machining. cnc machining is paying off like slot machines. the trade is not a hard one, just a little common sense an mechanical abilities. most get 17 to 18 per hour in 5 to 7 years. any ways , just a thought.
