What happens when you leave a temp. job after one day?
I recieved an offer for another perm. job today when I arrive home from my first day as a temp. what happens now
having a temp job is a safety net for these kinds of things. When employers hire temp staff, they now they risk losing them on short notice. Did you sign a contract that said an amount of leave is required?
Just be honest with them, tell them you received a perm job in an industry you'll really enjoy and thank them for the opportunity. Leave it on a good note, because if your other job doesn't work out you leave yourself open to go back to them for more work. They'll appreciate your honesty Nothing will happen to you. If you give 24 hours notice or more, you can usually get a good reference from them. If not, oh well. They are used to ppl leaving on them.
