Is this bad business practices?

Okay, Today I wento to go sign up with a gym, and the manager, he ended up signing me up, and omg what a flirt! First off, when I walked in this really nice looking guy, like don't I know you from somewhere, I 'm like no,,and he insists that he knows me and the manager, we'll I sure wish I was there, and then he started messaging my hands I'm like ugh, then he's like oh you should let me take you out to dinner, so he ;s asking me for my address to put in my information to set up my account he's like oh, I'm about to be up over your house to meet mom;s and cook you dinner,? and he was asking me what I do, and he;s asking what am I doing after I leave, and his feelings was hurt because I didn't want to stop and talk to him, and I 'm thinking, what the heck and this there sales pitch,, plus another member of the staff, was like" oh you have beautiful hair" and he started patting my hair! wassup with that I know the story is kinda self explanatory.

  • I think he just wanted you to join the club.
  • Nope, great business practice, you signed a contract didn't you?

Now, soon you may find out how not so great it is for you.

Flirting and complimenting are the oldest sales tricks in the book. And trust me, you didn't hurt his feelings one iota, he made his commission and hooked another sucker, er I mean member.

Health clubs have some of the dirtiest tactics allowed under law. Hopefully you will use the gym and won't feel like you were scammed. But from my experience, you were!
  • I think you should report them to the better business bureau for harassment. And you should find a different gym.
