Does anyone here have experience with CAFEPRESS?

I am interested in putting some t-shirts and such up, but I need to know how to promote my merchandise. How will people know to look for my t-shirts?
Can I promote it on my myspace or is that against the myspace rules? How can a band with only a myspace sell anything besides thier music on the snoball part. I want to linke to my cafepress. Can I do that without a hassel from myspace?
